Scissor Sister Ana Matronic and Wigstock doyenne Lady Bunny tag team as hosts for 2 election-timed editions of "Weimar New York" as part of the 10 Year Anniversary of Joe's Pub. First conceived and produced by independent curator Earl Dax in March 2006 as a sprawling late night cabaret at the Pub, the show struck a nerve as it sought to articulate uneasy parallels between Weimar-era Berlin and the contemporary United States. From Joe's Pub and sold-out engagements during the first and second seasons of the Spiegeltent in New York, "Weimar New York" most recently traveled to the West Coast, first as part of the Live Art program at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) over Valentines' Day 2008 and then as part of LA Art Weekend.

Ana Matronic not only co-hosted (with Justin Bond) the SFMOMA editions of "Weimar New York," but she has also twice co-hosted (with Earl Dax) Tingel Tangel Club at Glasslands and Deitch Studios. She takes a break from recording the third studio album for the Scissor Sisters to host on November 1st when confirmed performers include: Curtis Eller, Bridget Everett, Nick Hallett, Amber Martin, Julie Atlas Muz, Narcissister, Bryce Ryness, Lady Rizo, Rosateresa, Kim Smith, Sherry Vine and the Pixie Harlots.

Lady Bunny takes the reigns on November 2nd, providing the audience with a rare opportunity to catch the beloved queen fuse her over-the-top drag persona with the fiery political sensibilities on display in her writing for OUT magazine and on her own blog. What happens when she applies her acid-tongued humor to world events on the eve of the election? Only she knows for sure, but you don't want to miss it! Confirmed performers for November 2 include: Penny Arcade, Flotilla DeBarge, Adam Dugas, Amy G, Cynthia Hopkins, (aka Gloria Deluxe), David Ilku, Gina Leishman, Circus Amok's Liberty Sisters, Dirty Martini, and Tigger!
